Technical Environments

Scientists in technology facilities conduct their work under stringent cleanroom and ESD requirements. Whether in a testing lab at a pharmaceutical start-up or an assembly line for semiconductors, Cramer chairs and stools are uniquely suited for controlled cleanroom and ESD environments. Contaminant Control

Cramer textiles are designed to keep contaminants out. Our fabrics are stain resistant, and our expanded selection of vinyl has special soil and stain-resistant finishes. Our patented RhinoPlus upholstery is anti-microbial, anti-bacterial, puncture, and tear-resistant – easy to clean, too.

Cleaning Ease

Active Postures

Cramer seating adjusts to support the full range of seated postures — from active forward-leaning to recline. Flexible, pivoting backs provide dynamic lumbar support, and seat and back angles can be adjusted to support healthy open angles and encourage circulation.

Cleanroom

Cramer cleanroom chairs are designed for minimal particulate contribution as certified by tests conducted in accordance with ASTM F25-68 and SAE ARP 734A. Sealed pneumatic cylinders, upholstered vinyl cover and seamless covers prevent outgassing above .5 microns. Cleanroom seating is manufactured to meet ISO 14664, Class1 (ISO 3), Class 10 (ISO 4) and Class100 (ISO 5).

ESD

Cramer ESD chairs are designed to meet the ESD Association standard test method ESD Seating (STM 12.1-1997). Each chair is assembled with ESD approved parts including chrome cylinder, polished aluminum base, conductive plastic arms and foot rings and steel parts coated with conductive tints. Dual-density conductive casters eliminate the need for cumbersome drag chains. Each chair is tested individually for compliance before leaving the factory.
